Please Enter with Your Robot
Japan’s “Robot Friendly” promises turn sci‑fi into social design.
Some questions feel “too early,” until someone opens the door.
Japan just did. Literally with a sticker that reads, “You can enter with your robot.”
The Robot Friendly movement and its New Three Laws (promises, really) don’t cast robots as obedient tools or job‑stealing villains; they invite them in as social participants.
What I love here is the shift from debate to design: from “Do robots belong?” to “How do we grow with them?”
We need to build social systems that keep up with fast-moving AI and professional shifts.
If you’re curious what the next five to ten years could feel like, this piece is a great spark for your imagination.
